Complete Garden Overhaul
Our client based in Thorp Arch, North Yorkshire, wanted to find a company which could provide a seamless process from the initial design to the installation of the garden design.
The client wanted to have a complete garden overhaul and had some initial ideas on what they wanted, and it was our job to make them ideas work within their design scheme.
The main challenge to overcome was the natural slope of the garden. By creating sleeper retainers to build up one end of the garden and drop the level of the adjacent, we were able to create a larger more levelled lawn whilst creating large sweeping planting beds.
To the back of the garden, we created a large rockery water feature which cascaded down into a wildlife pond. We installed a floating composite deck area over the pond to create a seating area for the clients where the have evening sun to enjoy.
Our horticultural team designed a planting scheme based on the soil and environmental conditions of the garden incorporating plants chosen specifically by the clients to work within a succession planting scheme which will provide structure and colour all year round.
